Preserving the Present

If you haven’t had a chance to check out the “about” page then you definitely should as this post is a continuation of some of the items I touched on there. My love for photography developed over time and like fine wine, it gets better with age. I’m a lover of all things beautiful and I realize that some of the most beautiful things in this world don’t last forever. It is our responsibility to preserve the things and moments that are important to us in such a way that we ( and others) can enjoy them for as long as we choose. Major milestones such as births, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays are all beautiful moments to be treasured for a lifetime and beyond. I pray that I am alive to meet my great-grandchildren but in the event that I don’t, I take comfort in the fact that my images will tell my story.

If your life is anything like mine, you are running at 50 mph with a to do list as long as the Great Wall of China and believe me i know planning a shoot feels like another item on your to-do list. Hear me out though, the present is worth preserving! These moments in time, the stage in life that you are in right now, will not happen again, so take some time and think about how you will preserve the present.
